Michael Soldier is more than just versatile; the award-winning porn star is a virtual daisy chain of multi-hyphenates. The actor-rocker-performance artist-porn star is as flexible off-screen as he is on. We thought we'd add one more trophy to his wall and name him our Dream Team inductee for November.

When Soldier graced the box cover of Factory Video's 2001 armpit-fetish video "Rank," he was still new to porn. Though he'd worked in legit film and television in his native New York, he was eager to make his mark in the scintillating realm of adult, and it wasn't long before he snagged a GayVN Award for Best Sex Scene (Cops Gone Bad). Best Actor nods followed three years in a row, with Soldier eventually winning for Raging Stallion's A Porn Star is Born. His most memorable performance, however, may be as dastardly publisher Simon Jett in the Jet Set/NakedSword gay porn soap Wet Palms.

But while Soldier has captured the hearts (and loins) of fans everywhere, he never stops working. His cult rock band Pepperspray has opened for both the Scissor Sisters and Cher. And this fall Soldier stars in esteemed playright John Guare's House of Blue Leaves at the Actor's Theater in San Francisco.

Despite all his mainstream success, Soldier doesn't plan on leaving us in adult; the star's biggest production yet, Mustang Studio's "Trapped" debuts in 2006. We can't wait.
